Privacy Policy

Professor Tech — Office Tools Studio (“Professor Tech”, “we”, “our”) is a free set of browser-based office tools run by Muhammad Uzaif Jakhar. This policy explains, in plain words, what happens to your information when you use this website.

The short version

• Your files are never uploaded. Every tool works inside your own browser, on your own device.
• There are no accounts, no sign-up and no login.
• We do not collect, store or sell your personal information.
• The only counting on this site is an anonymous visitor counter that records that a page was visited — not who visited it.

Your files stay on your device

All sixteen tools — image, PDF, Word/text, Excel and CV tools — process files locally in your web browser using JavaScript. When you select a photo, PDF or spreadsheet, the file is read by your browser and processed on your device. It is not sent to our server or to any third party, and we could not look at it even if we wanted to. When you close the tab, nothing remains with us.

Information we collect

Visitor counter. To understand how popular the site is, we use a simple counting service (Abacus, abacus.jasoncameron.dev) that increments an anonymous counter once per browser session. It records a visit count and the date — no name, no account, no file data, and nothing that identifies you personally.

Browser storage. Your browser may store a small session flag (sessionStorage) so the counter does not count the same visit twice. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.

We also use Google Analytics (a Google service) to see how many people visit, which pages they use and where our visitors come from (for example, a Google search or Facebook). Google Analytics sets its own cookies and reports anonymous statistics to us. It never receives your files — as explained above, files are processed only inside your browser.

Messages you send us. If you contact us on WhatsApp, your message is handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy. We only use it to reply to you.

Third-party services used by this site

• Code libraries (jsPDF, PDFLib, PDF.js, SheetJS, QRCode.js, html2pdf) are loaded from public CDNs (cdn.jsdelivr.net, cdnjs.cloudflare.com). These downloads deliver program code to your browser; your files are not sent to them.
• Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com).
• Visitor counter from abacus.jasoncameron.dev, as described above.

Like all websites, CDN and hosting providers may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability. We do not control those logs and never receive your file contents through them.

Children's privacy

These tools are general-purpose office tools. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
